Snow Day- Addy, Annie & Ace

Guess what we are home again. It's yet another snow day. Tim hasn't been to school in 7 days now, and I am home from work again today. It has been snowing since last night when we went to bed, and it looks like it is just now starting to stop snowing. The weather man said that if we get 5.5 inches today we will have the snowiest month in history for Tulsa. I am thinking we are there, but I will update you on all of our broken records once we are in the 60's next week. It is just crazy to think we are going to be -5 tonight and in less than a week the forecast is saying 50's to 60's.

Anyway, we are spending A LOT of time indoors these days. This morning we caught Addison on video entertaining the dogs. Take a look....

Wordless Wednesday: My child LOVES chili.

You scream, I scream.....

We all scream for SNOW ICE CREAM!  I have always wanted to try to make snow ice cream, but we seem to be great with making sleet and ice around here in Oklahoma. We never get massive amounts of snow. Well today was the day. With blizzard conditions and a record breaking 14 inches of snow, I think we have plenty of snow to try out some snow ice cream.

Start with a bowl full of snow (preferably clean snow)

Stir in 1 c. sugar, 2 c. milk, and 1 Tbs. vanilla.
