Lenten Goal Update
I know Lent was over a long time ago, but I tell you I am just so behind these days. Work has not slowed down one bit and Lilah is growing, which is slowing me WAY down. I realized I never gave an update on our Lenten Goal. I am not sure we hit our 40 bags mark. Our original plan was to rid our house of 40 grocery size bags of stuff. Well, that ended up being a little crazy, the bags just seemed too small and filled up too quick. So we moved to kitchen size bags, our guess was 3ish small bags fit in 1 kitchen size bag. Per our somewhat accurate count we ended up with 11 kitchen bags, but we also had a bunch of bigger stuff that was just loaded in the car for Goodwill. We don't remember if we counted them as a bag or not. Also, at the start of the project we thought we would put stuff in a garage sale. Well, that went out the window fast! We realized quickly that we did not want to store the stuff for a garage sale with the possibility of it never going anywhere. So as soon as we did a clean out of an area Tim whisked it off to Goodwill. Definitely the fastest and easiest option. So there you have it. Did we reach our goal? Who knows? I still feel like we have more stuff to get rid off, so we are going to focus on continuing to slim down our stuff. We are working on our yearly goal of "less is more"!

Elmo Live
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? A week ago we took Addison to see Elmo, Sing and Dance! It was officially her first "concert". Madison and Mackenna went too. Before the show they had several Sesame things set up for the kiddos to do. And every so often some of the characters would come out and dance. It was loud and a lot going on, so the girls looked a little in awe at times. Once it was time to start the show we found our seats (which were perfect back row right near the bathroom). Addison had fun dancing and watching all the action for the first part of the show, but after intermission she kept saying she needed to go potty just so she could get up and not sit still anymore. All three of the girls were tired of sitting, so we made an early exit and headed to eat. Let's just say taking three toddlers to Elmo, then to a restaurant is not the best of ideas. They were tired of sitting and hungry. Tim ate with two on his lap, while I fed him and Addy. Madison wanted to sit on Tim's lap because she has a tad bit of a super crush on Tim. That girl is hilarious she gets all goo goo eyed when she sees Tim. We told him he was just gearing up for two kiddos.

Easter Day
We let Addison look through her Easter basket as soon as she woke up. Someone told me this week that their mom always put a swimsuit in their Easter basket. That sounded like such a fun tradition, so I put in one of the few I bought last year on clearance after summer. Addison had fun in the nursery at church.and decorated an egg and had a small hunt of her own. After church we headed to my mom's house for lunch, relaxing, and an egg hunt for Charlotte and Addy. It was a great day. We thank Jesus for making the day possible and giving up his life so that we may live. (Cute side note: During a car ride one day last week, I was trying to tell Addy what Easter is really about. I was talking about Jesus and how much He loves us. She responded, "Oh, I know him". It was so cute. I just hope I can help lead her down the right path so that she might truly know Him.)

Easter Activities
Easter usually falls at a very busy time for Tim and I. He has baseball games and I have tax returns. I was bound and determined to not have a repeat of Christmas with no activities for the little girlie. So Tim and I tag teamed and the little miss got to do lots of fun things.
During the week one evening Addy and I baked the bunny cake that we would decorate later during the weekend.
Friday night Tim took Addy to see the Easter bunny, while I worked so I could take the weekend off. She had the same reaction as years past, terrified.
Saturday I took Addy to an Easter egg drop in Owasso, while Tim was at a baseball tournament. It was pretty neat. A helicopter came and dropped eggs for the kiddos to "hunt". To add to the excitement it was raining about half the time we were there, including the "hunting" portion. Oh well, it was still fun. Addison liked to take her time and inspect/open the eggs. So let's just say she did not win the most eggs contest.
Saturday evening was quite busy we decorated the bunny cake. Addison did most of the creative work. She also ate just a tiny bit of icing. ;)
Then dad helped us dye Easter eggs.
Tim and I had some fun too and dyed the whites of our deviled eggs. Forgot to take a picture of the final product, oops.
