Lilah's Birthday Day

To wrap up Lilah's birthday posts I wanted to document what we actually did for her birthday.

She started the day greeted by some streamers.

Before getting ready for school one must start their day with some sugar, right?!?!

After some fun at school mom and Addy woke her up from her nap at school with cupcakes to share with her friends.

Since mom was already off of work we scheduled her three year appointment. Nothing big to note here. She is tiny, but we knew that.

Next she got to open her presents from us. She already "opened" the trampoline a few days later, but we saved some little fun gifts for her actual birthday. Addison loved giving her all of the gifts and talking about how they could share all of them. Haha

For dinner we had her request of pasketti with watermelon because she loves that too.

followed by the remaining part of her birthday cake. By now she knows the drill and belted out the birthday song and blew out her candle like a champ.

We ended the day with mom rocking her and holding back tears. I told how special she is and how much I love and adore her. Tim knows that I have to have my mushy rocking chair birthday chat so he bribed Lilah to let me rock her. She was afraid Daddy wasn't putting her to bed. She loves that Daddy of hers and so do I. Happy birthday my Lilah. We love you so so so much!

Lilah's Minnie Mouse Party

We had Lilah's birthday party Sunday night. Per her request it was a Minnie Mouse party. Doesn't she look adorable and older in this swimsuit?!?!

We started the party off opening presents that way we wouldn't interrupt any water time.

Of course a Minnie party menu would be a hot diggity dog bar.

After eating the kiddos jumped on the trampoline (Lilah's present) or played in a kiddie pool or on the giant blow up slide we borrowed.

After some hard playing it was cake time. I tried my hand at homemade fondant. It actually wasn't too hard. Just really time consuming. She loved her cake so that was worth every moment.

Happy birthday pretty girl!
