Guest Post from Melissa
My best friend Melissa over at Keeping Up With The Lewis Family was nice enough to keep my rugrat the other day. She blogged about our little girls playdate and I just had to share her post.

Last week I had the pleasure of keeping my best friend's beautiful daughter for the day! I was super excited as this was the first time I had kept more then one kid at a time (testing myself for baby number two) and I wanted to see how the girls would interact. The "test" was exhausting but watching the girls play was well worth it! The girls are 15 weeks apart (exactly 15 weeks because they were both born on a Tuesday). Addy is 17 months and Madison is 13 months. There are so many differences in the two yet so many similarities. Wherever one went, the other was quick to follow. For the most part they shared very well, but there were a few bumps in the road. I have posted several pictures, but they were too cute not to share! I am ready for the next play date!
The pink car was in high demand. I eventually had to hide it in my bedroom to control the fighting.
Um, excuse me.... I believe this is my car!
I DON'T want to share!
Fine, I will just push you around
Then Addy had to push
At one point I did resort to the Wonder Pets, but they obviously love it so why not?!
Addy read Madison a book
They thought sliding at the same time would be more fun (until they got stuck)
Madison showed Addy her cabinet in the kitchen
They played me some tunes
Put their backpacks on for our lunch adventure
Played some more tunes and danced a little
After nap time they shared some cheerios and puffs
Addy decided Madison needed to fix her hair (see previous bed head post)
Madison was 100% fine with it as long as she could keep eating her cheerios!
It was a such a fun day and I can't wait to watch these girls grow up together!

Easter Cupcake Fun
A few weeks ago I was so crazy busy with tax returns, tax returns, tax returns that I called my Dad to the rescue. He took my little bundle of joy for two days. This was the first time when I was away from my princess where Tim & I spent a little time together to reconnect. It started out with grocery and errand fun (man how your dates change when you have kids) and ended with the most perfect dinner. We sat outside at Charleston's on the "Bass Pro" lake. The weather was just perfect and we actually talked about things other than Addison. It was just so wonderful to spend a little uninterrupted time together. Anywho, while we were eating dinner, Addison was having some fun of her own. Gammy and Pops (Ipops, Grandfather, etc we just can't decide on a name yet. I guess Addy will have to figure it out for us) and Auntie Abby were having a nice dinner of their own complete with cupcake making! Apparently at Addison's dinner she ate lamb chops and salmon and pretty much anything they gave her. That girl seems to eat anything (even peas Lisa). Gammy had told me that she had some fun planned, so I sent my camera and requested photo documentation (thanks Abby for taking pics!). It looked like so much fun. While I wish I was there, I am just so happy that Addison has so many people in her life who love her and I don't mind sharing her joy with all of them.
Okay I think we are done.
Sprinkles!
A cook must always taste her work!
Here Gammy you try it!
Mmmmm, I am a wonderful cook!
Now for the finishing touches!
Okay I think we are done.
Ta Da!!
Time to clean up.

Busy bee weekend part 3
We stayed the night with Tim's parents. On Sunday
Addison got to play with her cousins Emma & Cassandra.
Addison & Emma blowing bubbles.
It was pretty windy, so basically it was just dipping the bubble
wand in the bubbles and letting the wind do all the work for you.
After lunch we went to an awesome park in Shawnee called Kids Space.
Addison & Cassandra on the swings.
Addy & Daddy playing a xylophone.
It was a fun filled, packed weekend! Just the type I love!
Busy bee weekend part 2
It has been a super busy week. Tax returns are due on Monday and of course we have some stragglers, so it has been crazy at work. So now I can continue on my weekend review.
Saturday after I worked in the morning we headed to Shawnee. Some of our bestest friends from college (actually the couple that introduced Tim & I) were having a crawfish boil. It was so fun for our kids to get to play together and the adults to have some time to relax. Josh and Jill didn't disappoint. There was tons of food and fun!
A feast: Crawfish, Shrimp, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Corn & Sausage.
Spicy, but oh so good!
Josh & Jill have their own personal bouncy house (dibs!)
Addy used to be scared of such things, but this time after watching
Avery she realized well maybe it wasn't so bad.
She actually loved it!
The party really got started when Jill led us in the official dance of New Orleans, the "roosta dance".

We played a game called Left, Right, Center.
Basically it's called give all your money to Courtney (my sil). She is one lucky girl.
The ladies!
Our studly men!
Addy and Avery were bff's all day long. Avery was such a good baby sitter.
She was so patient and loving with little Addy. She is such a good little girl.
Jack, Jack!
If you know Josh, you know he is always tickling and teasing kiddos.
Well Addy just loved her Uncle Josh.
Beautiful Avery!
We had such a wonderful time with our friends! Can't wait until next year's boil!
