Family Celebrations

We had five family celebrations. Each one has its own special traditions and activities. This year I planned just enough ahead of time and gave myself grace that everything would not be perfect. That made it so much more stress free and really fun. I still feel like I didn't get to talk to everyone because I was busy watching the girls. I am starting to think life as a mom may mean that you never get to finish a thought or your mind is constantly going 90 to nothing! Oh well, I am sure my family still loves me. On to the celebrations in pictures.....

Very VanDuser Christmas

Since Tim and I have had children. we have decided it is best to spend Christmas morning with just our little family of four. We love seeing everyone, but it is also very tiring for our little girls. We have been able to work the schedule so we have Christmas Eve late afternoon through Christmas day just to ourselves. Anyone who wants to can come visit on Christmas day, but we want the girls to be able to make as big of a mess as they want playing with new toys and lounge around in PJs all day. The past few years I have been lucky to have my sister Jenny come over and watch a Christmas movie with us. It is a fun tradition I hope to continue.
