I started the month getting my COVID-19 vaccine and received lots of Desi cuddles. I helped gather our Gala firepit basket. We watched lots and lots of basketball games, Tim's, Addy's and Lilah's. We had a nice Valentine's Day, which included a snow storm and lots of at home time. We went sledding, celebrated Mia's birthday, carted around lots of kids, Addy started leading Kid's worship and Lilah pretended to be Helen Keller for a school project. It was a fun month!
We started the year off with some fun! We tried out the local outdoor ice skating rink. It was so much fun for the kids and no injuries! Lilah celebrated her half birthday at school, summer baby fun. We determined we are a spicy family. All of us like siracha! Lots of basketball playing and watching this month. And for added fun why not add some cheering. Joleen and I coached the 5th grade team. Those girls are so fun. It was great getting to be part of their world. I tried a bunch of hair styles. And hit up a Starbucks with Lilah. Joleen had a birthday. One of the best parts of the month was getting to love on baby Desi. She is Joleen's niece and we have gotten to be adopted family. She stayed a night or two with us during the month, and it was so great to have a baby to love on.
