Little Li lost her second tooth. Unfortunately, it is where all teeth seem to go if you loose them at school... the playground.
Summit started the post season play, with a District win.
One game there were some unfortunate weather conditions, so the back up cheerleaders were called in. Lilah and Addy had a BLAST cheering during daddy's game.
We also had our last cheer competition of the season. Addison has decided she really likes it and has continued cheering through the off-season. Lilah loved it as well, but wants to try other things. We limit Lilah to only one activity at a time. She is still too little for more than that in our mind. Addison has been allowed this spring to have two activities (basketball and cheer). Addison, does really well in school and needs less rest than Lilah so we think this is a good mix right now. Of course, this will change each semester I am sure as we are evaluating both girls and their needs.
This girl was the lead girl for the squad. She was at the front of the formations and leading the squad. They partnered Lilah with her on most partner or stunts. It was so cute to see her leading Lilah into all of the right spots. Addy is a serious cheerleader. She is very focused and concentrating the whole time making sure she is at the right spot at the right time.
This girl was one of the younger and smallest girl on the squad. She could flat out smile anyone. Perhaps, she was off the whole time and needed her sister's guidance, but she had a blast. It is like everything else, Lilah has gusto!
For as much togetherness these two have had over the season, they got along extremely well. There was only one practice where...yikes... sisterly love was a stretch. They were ticked at each other and it showed. They coach looked up at me at one point and just started laughing. It was to others a bit comical, but they were just sick of each other for the day. Other than that one spat, they literally, loved on each other during practice. Addison protected her sister and never let her be dropped on the ground. Lilah was the flyer for the group and Addy her back spot. Addy was always making sure the other girls were doing the right thing so her sister wouldn't be dropped. The love these two have for each other is AMAZING and I hope it never changes.
Addison had to make an invention from the 1800's, and she choose the Pullman sleeping car.

Addy's Valentine to Ryker. Yes that boy is still on her heart. They never see each other, but she still likes him.

Lilah is always playing school. Here she has her desk set up just like Mrs. Rutherford.
Can you tell her teacher is having a baby? Other uses for basketballs in our house.
Their first root beer in a bottle.
The last basketball game of the season with this excellent team. They did so well this year.
