Mad to Glad in 60 seconds.
One evening Addison wasn't too happy to be in her high chair. I noticed my camera on the table, and thought this is perfect to have in my back pocket just in case any boy tries to date my perfect little baby. I just quickly started snapping so that I could capture the many pitiful faces my little angel has.
This is one of my favorites.
As you can see she has quite the dramatic side to her. It was pretty entertaining. Then maybe two minutes later Tim took a few pictures. It is pretty amazing how her mood can change with a snap of a finger.

Homeward Bound- A two weekend recap....
I am so behind on my blogging. We have been out of town for the past few weekends. Two weekends in a row we went to visit Tim's family. His Aunt Leanne, Uncle Scott, and Cousin Lindsay were visiting from Chicago.
First we went to visit Tim's Grandma and Grandpa.
They had pet birds that Addy absolutely LOVED. Her mother not so much. Tim kept saying let's just let them out and fly around. That would not have been good. I would have been hiding in a corner. I am not a fan of things flying near your head.
I couldn't get Addy to look, but I actually got Tim and his Grandpa to look.
This is what Scott thought of pictures.
Addison and Grandma Maria.
Addison and Grandpa Lowell.
That evening Tim's parents made an amazing fajita dinner for everyone. We invited over Jill, Josh and the kiddos for the fun too! It is so nice that they live in the same town as Tim's parents, so that when we go home we get to see them too!
Addy and Jill
At this point in time I had taken about 1,000 pictures of Jill and Addy. Jill is giving me the "STOP TAKING MY PICTURE" look.
After dinner we went outside with the kiddos and made up a fun little game. It was called "see if you can get the basketball across the walkway". I love country living. You make up the most fun games, and have a blast doing it.
Avery had quite the kicking skills!
Addison had to do everything the big kids were doing, of course!
Sunday we went to church and had fried chicken for lunch. We took some quick pictures before we headed back home to start another week. It was so fun to hang out with all of our family.
Grandpa Randy and Addy
Emma LOVES taking pictures.
Leanne and Addison
And again with college girl Lindsay.
The next weekend we went back to visit a special birthday girl. Tim's niece Cassandra turned 15! Wow, one more year and this little one will be driving. She had a busy weekend planned, so Tim and I took her out to a brunch at Ihop. Such good times with this pretty young lady.

Cooking with Friends
My work does do some great outings for us. This past weekend we went to a cooking class. Everyone split up in two groups and created a meal. Then we all got to try what we had prepared.
Of course great cooking requires a little alcohol.

I was practicing the proper knife techniques our chef taught us. It is actually kind of hard. I guess I just don't have the skills.

Rolling some sushi...

With our handsome husbands..

A little sample of everything that was created that night. I must say we accountants can cook. Everything was amazing. I still salivate when I think of the salmon and I have never liked salmon.

Whitakers
My sister Jenny invited Lisa and I over for dinner the other night, with one little caveat. We had to take pictures. She wanted some pictures of us girls and the little girls, well mostly of the little girls, for her "about me" poster for her classroom. Well my child is at some what of a trying fun age. Perhaps I may have taken too many photos of her or she has been blinded by my flash. Anywho, she is just not the most cooperative these days when it comes to taking posed pictures. She wants to wiggle and run away. It must not have been a good night for any of us actually. None of us really loved any of the pictures, but we sure laughed hard when we went back through them and looked at them. Beware there are tons of pictures, but they all provided my sisters and I with so many uncontrollable giggles (we call whitakers). I just had to document this moment so when we are 80 we can look back and remember the whitakers.
This is how Jenny got us over there for pictures, free food!
It started out perfect! Isn't this little girl a doll. Well add her older cousin into the mix and things get a little dicey.
I look so happy
We thought sitting on the couch with the TV on would make Addy look toward the camera. Well she is looking straight at the TV.
Then we all start to take a peek. It must have been a really good show.

Finally Lisa takes a look. Oh yeah doesn't Addy look so pleasant.
So we tried standing up. Plus, I figured it would have a slimming effect.
Josh is taking the picture. Tim is behind Josh bouncing a ball on his head like a dolphin so Addy will laugh.
At this point Addy wriggle out of my hands and ran off. Don't worry Charlotte can't go anywhere it looks like Lisa has a death grip on her.
So I try the same hold only Addy doesn't take it as good as Charlotte. Plus my smile looks a tad forced don't you think?
Crap she is trying to get loose again.
Check out Lisa's eye and the hold on Charlotte. It looks like she is super glued.
I think we are done.
Lisa and I were done with pictures so Jenny tried to get a couple with the little girls.
Addy was like "listen lady I am done" and proceeds to try to choke Jenn with her necklace and punch her in the face. I think Jenn got the picture.
So what have we learned... pictures with toddlers are hard work but produce lots of whitakers.
