Last day of school: May 20, 2015

I know my ladies aren't officially in school yet, and technically they go year round (darn working mom stuff).  However, I love seeing the changes from the "first day of school" and the "last day of school".

 

 

 

 

Dance Recital 2015

So the dance year has come to an end. We closed out the year with Addison's first dance recital. To be honest we were hanging on by a thread over the couple of months. Addison was done with dance. Her shoes were too tight. I just kept trying to stretch them out before each practice. I wasn't buying a new pair for another month. The last month we had little carrots to encourage her to try to enjoy class, picture day, the excitement of recital, and everyone coming to watch her. She really enjoyed the idea of all eyes on her.

Saturday we had rehearsal in the morning. Tim's parents and Molly came to watch.

 

 

 

We went home and Addison tried to take a nap but she was just too excited. So about 3 pm, we started getting ready to do it again. This time Addison had quite a crowd.

Mother's Day 2015

I was showered with love this Mother's Day. My little family made me a breakfast of eggs, bacon, and Addison's tea. Then they gave me their gifts. Addison and Lilah were both very happy and proud. Lilah made me a pen holder and Addison made several pictures, a pot holder, and got the biggest card ever. Still not sure what I am going to do with it. Tim bought me earrings and a necklace I have wanted for a couple of years now. I love these people. Being a mother is the best job ever!

That evening we went to Jenny's house for dinner with my mom and sisters.
