Wordless Wednesday: Leaves!

 

Addison's Birthday Day

Addy's birthday was a school day. Since we had festivities that night, we blew out one more candle and opened her presents from us that morning.

 

She was most excited to have a free dress day on her birthday.

No uniform today!



 

Lilah and I came to her class that afternoon. I read books to the class and then they celebrated with ice cream. It was a little too wild to take tons of pictures. 



 

I did happen to capture her class singing happy birthday.

After leaving school we headed to the doctor for Addison's 6 year appointment. All is great and she is still a petite girl. After that we met up with Daddy at Pizza Hut. Addison's choice. She wanted to use her newly obtained book-it award.

We finally ended the night at the skating rink. It just so happened it was the school's elementary skate night. Perfect way to end a birthday day!

Addison's Birthday Party

This year Addison had trouble choosing her birthday theme. It was a tough choice between, Ninja Turtles, How to Train Your Dragon, and Fall Festival (I was trying to play that one up, haha). She finally settled on Ninja Turtles. While trying to come up with ideas for the party, Tim mentioned we should just order pizza. Ninja Turtles love pizza. Well that turned into a make your own pizza party. I decided we could get activity, food and fun all in one. So that became her party. We still invited mostly family, which is a lot considering I have a huge immediate family. I did let her choose three friends from school and of course Madison and Mackenna were invited. Madison was visiting Mickey Mouse so we missed her. Addison choose Ryker (her boyfriend), Molly (a bestie for a couple of years) and Bella (a new bestie this year). It was so cool to watch Addison. She was having a blast with her friends. So many shrieks, laughs, giggles and pure joy coming out of her. Here is her party in pictures.
