Fun surprise

I wasn't planning on having a good weekend. Saturday we said goodbye to Miss Patpat. However, Saturday morning Tim's dad called and said he had a truck route that was coming through Tulsa, and he would be here in a couple of hours! My thoughts, crap the house is a disaster, I am a disaster, and that was so exciting! The last time we saw him was Thanksgiving, so we were very excited! 

Also, we are going to have to work on a name for him. Addison picked out Grandma, but I don't think that will work. We tried Pappy, but he brought his dog, Dog, with him and that was just confusing. She couldn't figure out if we meant puppy or pappy. All of this was pretty hilarious if you ask me. ;) By Sunday she said Grandma and Grandpa and sometimes she threw in PeePaw (not sure what I think of that one).

 (Side note: This naming grandparents thing is a bit stressful. The women grandparents all have set names and seem to be good with them. However, the men are a different story. My dad has gone through several, and although his pick is Grandfather (said in a booming voice), I am not sure if that will come out of a girls mouth who is saying PeePaw.)

 

So we decided we are going to make Grandparents Flashcards. Sounds like a fun game, huh? So if you are one of our many male grandparents (we are SO very blessed to have so many) and you have a preference, please let me know before the flashcards are "published". At the rate I am accomplishing projects these days I may have three kids by then. ;)
