These Days: November

November centers around Addison's big day. But there is also Thanksgiving in there so we had some fun with that holiday as well.

We had our 2nd annual Thanksgiving dinner with the Servants Sunday school class and our Sunday school class. It was even more fun this year. Every time we get together with this group of people I just feel refreshed and happy. They are truly a blessing in our life, and I am so thankful to do life with these people.

Lilah with her buddy Sam. Wow, look at those cute kids and beautiful leaves behind them!

Cousin sleepover!

It was a special birthday for my mom. She preferred a low key night out with her girls. We did cake first so the kiddos and men could partake. Then me and my sisters took her out for P.F. Changs and our first Chinese foot massage. We had the best time together. I am pretty sure we all laughed til our faces hurt.

For Thanksgiving this year we did something completely different. Our church puts on a community dinner for anyone who wants a free meal. So this year our family choose to help prepare and serve this meal. Tim and I were each table waiters. The girls were on roll patrol. It was a long 4 hours for the girls, but wow what a blessing to serve others.

We tried our hand at gingerbread houses, but had some trouble getting them to stay together. So we just decorated one side. I am pretty sure the girls ate more than they decorated.

We have a new light hanger. Addison did a great job. She did the entire east side of the house.
