August was the end of our 5 month long Spring/Summer break. Some of the changes this school year were that Addy was moving up to the intermediate school, which meant lockers, her own computer and lots more freedom and responsibility. To gear up for adding technology and in my mind the inevitable homeschooling times, the whole family worked together and made this a desk for our home. We found some chairs on Facebook market place and recovered them. Other things for the month..... We had a fun get together with our new Sunday school. Addy went to a basketball camp with Brielle. The girls hosted a fun back to school party day with some of their friends. Tim had his basketball team over for a swimming party. We helped with the back to school backpack giveaway for the community at our church. Lilah and her friends walked up to the news anchor and started chatting away. They ended up doing the news spot for the event. We met our teachers and went back to school. We took the Cervantez kids out to my dad's to take some kitties. Mason was out helping his daddy with their deer stand, so he played and fished and picnic'd with us. We celebrated Candice's birthday, played with friends and cousins. And I tried out some fun new readers. I am gearing up for the big 4-0 next month. It was a great month.
