Randomness

Life tends to get crazier and crazier. Here are some Bits & Pieces (haha) of our life right now.

• Monday will mark the deadline of the last tax busy season for 2011. Hip hip hooray! I can have a life and gear up for holiday season. To celebrate my boss is taking us to the melting pot. I can't wait!
• I am really excited about the holiday season this year. I can't wait to create and continue traditions. It is going to be so exciting to see Addy's eyes light up.
• I am starting to get ready for Addison's 2nd birthday party. Can you believe it she is going to be two?!?! I love planning events. It is stressful, but oh so much fun!
• We have successfully booked something every weekend (well just one is open, which I will fill ASAP ;)) until the end of 2011. Exciting and crazy at the same time. I love that we have so many friends and family to share our life with. We are so incredibly blessed!
• Being so busy I always think I will sit down and get everything ready for the weekend ahead, say on Wed. This never happens until Sat morning when I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Tim is just watching the dust fly, because control freak me has to do it all my way. Perhaps I will learn to let go a little and let him pick out Addy's outfits (nevermind that might be going a little far). He is great at packing the car though. ;)
• I love fall, which I think officially means you are old. As a kid you long for SUMMER or SNOW, but as an adult I like the mildness of fall and spring.
• Speaking of fall, I did a little decorating (which I was going to do a post on, probably won't happen). However, this year is a lot less than in years past. Apparently I have a lot of non-toddler friendly decorations. The Christmas tree should be interesting. LOL.
• Last weekend Tim and I went to the OSU vs Kansas game (we kicked their tail). It was nice to spend some time with my hubby and friends sans child. Addison went to stay with her Grandma and Grandpa and hasn't stopped talking about it.
• My child LOVES I mean LOVES art stuff. As soon as we walk in the door in the evenings she wants to color or play with chalk. At first I thought she was going to be a list maker because she always wanted to have a pencil and paper, but now I think she might have a bit of an artsy gene in her. She is going to be like her Great Granny and Grandpa. My Granny can paint beautifully and my Grandpa is a sculptor, both amazing talents.
• Columbus Day was Monday, and I had to work. "Really? The guy discovered the New World. I'm afraid to even ask about Victory over Japan Day." (You, Me and Dupree. Anyone?)
• I kind of like a random blog post, because that is truly how my mind works. Lots of jumping around and always have the wheels turning.
