Sisterly Love

A popular question lately has been, "How is Addison doing with Lilah?" While I was in the hospital and about the first week we were home with Lilah, Addy was a bit confused, jealous, excited, weepy, etc.. I am pretty sure her and I were going through about one million emotions (read: poor Tim). She was also pretty darn confused by breastfeeding. Every time I would feed Lilah, she would want to be right there in the action. After some explanations and letting her feed her Romo while I fed Lilah, now it is no big deal. After that first week of adjustments, she now LOVES her little sister. She likes to find her when she wakes up in the morning. She is also pretty helpful when it comes to gathering diapers, burp rags, and pacis. Last night she even put Lilah's diaper on and did a pretty darn good job. This first month Addison has been spending lots of time with Grandparents, which has been great for everyone. We have gotten some bonding time with little Lilah and Addison has gotten so much special attention. Thank you everyone for your help this month.

My prayer for these two precious girls is that the will grow up loving each other creating an amazing bond. I hope that they become best friends and truly love and appreciate each other. When I found out we were having another girl I was very excited. The bond and friendship I have with my own sisters is so strong and unbreakable. I was so excited for my girls to be able to have a best friend for life. Sisterly love is an amazing experience.
