Every August we go to Shawnee to celebrate my beautiful, growing up way to fast neices. This year we went over on a Saturday and spent the day with my BFF Jill and her adorable family. Another set of kiddos growing up waaaay too fast. I mean Avery was already "baby sitting" my kiddos. Yikes. Jill has always been so good to us and given us clothes, toys and the like that her kiddos have out grown. Well this trip was no exception. Avery gave Addison some of her dress up clothes. Let me tell you, I don't think there has been a day go by that Addy doesn't put on one of the outfits. Thank you Avery!!!
On Sunday we had the big partay. Randy smoked amazing ribs and brisket and Tim's mom made all sorts of yummy sides. But the best part was the birthday cake! I myself am not much of a cake girl. Give me cookies! However, I have found my cake (I even requested it for my birthday. Reminder Tim if you are reading this, that is next Monday!). It was a white strawberry filled cake with whipped icing. Yummy!! Since everyone was together we took a few family pictures (giving me even more motivation to work out). It was a fun day with family. Happy birthday Cassandra and Emma! Now stop growing up so fast! Cassandra is 16 watch out roads!
