Meet Sofia

Sunday morning we had a special visitor, Sofia. I gave in to peer and pintrest pressure and decided to welcome our very on "Elf on the Shelf" into our home. Pintrest has all these grand ideas you can do with your elf. I decided the elf could "host" a welcome breakfast, but the rest of the time she would just move around our house. No shenanigans this year. I have to have something to build on next year, right? So I set everything up Saturday night and Addy didn't even notice the table in the kitchen until Tim and I made her look at it. Then she really seem to be concerned about the chocolate everywhere. She did enjoy some "snow covered" donuts and hot chocolate from a new special cup (thanks nana!). We let her eat as much sugar as she wanted, because that's what elf's love, right? After breakfast we read the elf's "instructions" and Addy originally named her Charlie then settled on Sofia. For those of you that don't know, Sofia "flies" to the north pole every night to report to Santa if Addy and Lilah are being naughty or nice. Then "flies" back and settles in a new spot for the next day. I think Addy enjoys it. She seems to like waking up to see if Sofia moved to a new spot.

"Chocolate?"

Lilah kept playing us some music by pulling her butterfly on her bouncer.

She said "I can't drink it with all these marshmallows".
