Our friends, the Smiths, always host a wonderful 4th of July celebration. There is always plenty of food, fireworks, friends and fun. We started the evening off trying to get the girls to pose for a picture. Impossible to get them both to look and smile at the same time.
Addison quickly changed into her dinner attire. No matter where we are she always finds the dress up clothes and changes.

After a down pour of rain, we continued with some water activities. Both of my girls are part fish and loved the slide, slip and slide and kiddie pool.

Addison tried earplugs to quiet the loud booms.

And a loud boom scared Addy to death.
We finally coaxed her into some snakes.
Addison ended up going inside. She is still just too scared that it was not very enjoyable for her. She had a good time inside though. Lilah wasn't phased at all. She enjoyed the lights and the glow sticks.
