Tim and I were discussing our 2013 goals last night and what we had accomplished and not accomplished. We also talked about how 2013 had lots of changes. Tim got a new job. Addison started school and outside activities. We bought a new house. Along with all of those changes came new goals, changing goals. Heck, I practically make a "goal" list (to do) list daily. This year I decided to try something new. I decided to chose a specific word to focus on for 2014.
For 2014 my word is faith.
Faith
noun
1. confidence or trust in a person or thing
2. belief that is not based on proof
3. belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion
This year I want to focus on all different aspects of faith.
- Faith in God and prayer
- Faith in my husband/marriage. I tend to be a leader. I want to follow where Tim leads.
- Faith in my mothering abilities
- Faith to make good leadership decisions at work
- Faith in humanity and trusting people are good
So I was trying to make this just one word. But look what I did, I threw in a darn list. Well, that list is not all encompassing nor are those my actual goals. Just examples of where I can apply faith.
