No more cribs....

Over Thanksgiving break we moved not so little Lilah into a big girl bed. She has done wonderful with the transition. The first week she never got out of bed until we or Addison got her out of bed. Then after about a week she would come out when she woke up. The first was a Friday morning. I was already up in the kitchen and heard this loud banging noise and then a child running. It was little Lilah. She was so proud of herself. The next morning, Saturday, she came barrelling through our door at 4:45 in the morning. I gave her a hug and took her back to her bed explaining that she couldn't get out of bed until the sun was awake. She cutely responded, "The sun's not awake?". She requested I sing her a song then fell back asleep. The next morning again same thing barrelling through the door. This time with Christmas beads in hand. She likes to make a noisy entrance. It was a reasonable weekend hour. She has done so well with the big girl bed. She is growing up so fast and absolutely the cutest thing ever. We love her so very much!

A few last pictures in the crib.

Of course sister needs to join in the fun!

Oh these two girls are such a joy!
