This last picture is with the current boyfriend Ryker. You may remember in her 5.5 year post that I mentioned Addison has several boyfriends. Well Ryker has always been her top choice and lately she has talked about this boy nonstop. She gets googly eyed over him. One day she told me she couldn't wait til she was old enough to kiss him. My response was you may only kiss your mom and dad. She responded with what about Lilah? Oh goodness.
Well Ryker's mom went on the trip and sent me the above pictures. She also said sent me the following text, "Just picked Ryker up and he let me know he was so sleepy on the bus. But it was ok Addison let him lay on her. We are in trouble!" All I could do was laugh.
When Addison got home I started questioning her about her day. She excitedly told me how she sat by Ryker on the bus. On the way there they talked the whole way. I asked her how the ride back went. Was she tired? She said yes everyone was tired. They were all very tired no one even talked. Then she went on to tell me Ryker put his hand on her leg. Trying not to make it a big deal I said "oh really". She responded, "It's okay mom it was comfortable" Insert Tim and I about to die of laughter and try to pick our jaws off the ground. We hid it though we didn't want her to know how we really felt. She continued to tell us that "I put my leg in Ryker's lap because it was comfortable. It's okay we were both just comfortable" Oh goodness, my girl is boy crazy! We continued to not make it a big deal and Tim said "I thought you were supposed to keep your hands to yourself". She quickly responded, "only if you are going to hit someone. Hitting is not nice".
I mean how do you respond to that. This first child of ours is breaking us in good. We are trying not to make a big deal out of anything because once you do that it's over. But come on Addison you are too young to be crushing over boys! I told Tim he was paying for his past sins. He said he sure hoped not or we were in trouble!
