Kiddie Parks and Berry Picking

I already feel like this summer is flying. The second week of June I had a mommy worry that "oh my gosh, the summer is almost over and we haven't had any fun!". So that day I insisted we drive to Bartlesville on a school night (wild!) and check out the Kiddie Park.

I also thought it would be a good idea to fit in our annual berry picking adventure that weekend. Saturday morning while on my way to the gym it started raining. My gym partner told me there was no way berry picking would work that day. It was supposed to rain the whole day. I was determined we would go rain or shine! Had to fit in some family fun!! Well by the time I got home it was barely sprinkling and I saw a break in the clouds. We loaded up and headed over. It was perfect. No rain and cooled off. It was actually really nice this year. The heat didn't have us leaving too quick and the girls were big enough they enjoyed it. We didn't have to haul a wagon or carry anyone. Now Lilah didn't pick a single berry. In fact she just stole them out of our buckets to eat. However, we lasted much longer than in years past.
