Growing up I hated making my bed. I always told my mom, "when I grow up, I am inventing a bed that makes itself. Well, I still haven't invented that bed, but now I do make my bed. I finally decided at the age of 36 that a made bed is actually nice and it really doesn't take that long.
Addy had Girl Scout Camp.
The girls working on their chores. One of their chores has been do their laundry. I usually do one load for them on the weekend, so the load isn't that overwhelming. They have done a great job learning how to use the washer and dryer and putting everything away.

I have worked from home several days this summer. Usually the girls are at some sort of activity but this day I had a helper for a couple of hours. She did her own work at her little desk. She even brought her baby to work.
My grandpa and uncle celebrated 50 years of the rock quarry my great grandpa started. It was so neat to see people I had worked with and grown up around. And to see the wonderful impact my family has made on the town.
After our anniversary weekend at the lake, I convinced my dad to take us out on his sailboat for a day.
What?!? You don't dress to the 9's for VBS. Lilah has quite the reputation for always dressing up. She loves to be a fancy girl.
