Addison's Birthday Day

The week of Addison's birthday was also my training week in Orlando. So Tim was the birthday magic this year. I put everything into a basket with detailed instructions for the morning festivities and just what needed to go to school. Wednesday night I called him and he was doing a great job getting the streamers and balloons set up. They facetimed me as soon as she woke up so we could sing happy birthday first thing. Usually she gets to open her presents, but I wanted to be there. So she just opened her present from Lilah.

That day at school she had a field trip to a mobile petting zoo and she choose to share treat bags with her class for her birthday treat. This was nice because I could have them done ahead of time and Tim just had to put them in her backpack. Aunt Jenny picked her up from school and I rushed (as fast as a delayed flight would let me) to get home for dinner. Tim also had a scrimmage that afternoon, so Jenny and Blake came to the rescue to help get kids to and from activities. Tim and I made it home about 6:00. We let Addy open the rest of her presents then off to her restaurant of choice, a hibachi grill.

Oh the fire breathing dragon! She was so excited about this dragon. She has talked nonstop about it since and even slept with it.
