I continually tell myself you need to take pictures. When I uploaded October pictures for this post there were over 100, so I guess I am taking pictures. However, there are still events that were left out, mainly family get togethers. I guess I am too busy yapping to snap a pick. Also, toying with the idea of adding back weekend recaps. Because 100 pictures in one post, goodness! Anywho, here's October. (After I started writing, I took out the Girl Scout Camping pictures. It deserves it's own post. So you are welcome under 100 pictures!).
Wrapped up cheer with our pink bows for breast cancer awareness month.
Somebody lost two top teeth and is our resident jack-o-lantern, just in time!
Lilah and I got to babysit this cute little guy. We are all so in love, but Lilah is just smitten. She wants to pretend she is his mom and just do everything for him.
Gosh, these cheeks scream, KISS ME!!
Mason, you almost make me want just one more.
Homecoming week:
Twinkie day at school
and aloha day
ended with a chili football game
We went to our annual pumpkin patch fun with our friends.
This slide was new and a hit for EVERYONE!
Three musketeers
We tried something new this year and rented a fire pit. It was really a lot of fun, but we did lose several hotdogs in the pit. Haha.
Addy and Lilah went with Pops and Gammy for a weekend. These girls are the luckiest girls ever. All of their grandparents are the best ever. We are always thankful for the fun and adventures they get to have.
Lilah's class went to the pumpkin patch, followed by a picnic at a park.
We had trick or treating at my work.
I got out of my comfort zone and went on a women's retreat with my church. I am so glad I did. It was such an amazing journey. I met some amazing women, learned more about the life God wants me to live and just felt refreshed.
The bubbles got a little out of control one night.
Tim and I went to Oktoberfest
While the girls partied with Aunt Jenny and Charlotte
Fall Break:
I worked from home on fall break. Mostly took time off with a little work sprinkled in. At the beginning, my mom came to stay, which I have zero pictures. See too busy chatting and such to snap. After she and Avery left, Addison went over to her bestie Molly's. Boy did they get dolled up.
Then Molly came over to attempt a sleepover in the playhouse. She made it through the hotdogs and smores, but not quite to the sleeping part. Not sure Addy would have been any different. No hurry we have years to do sleepovers. We still slept in the playhouse, well, except mom. I had to get in my bed at midnight, I just couldn't fall asleep out there.
We went on a hayride at Lincoln's birthday.
Tim and I absentee voted.
Lilah and Ella, always buddies.
It has been a tradition for us to spend our Halloween with the Smith family. Every year has something special. This year will be remembered as the first easy year. We walked up to the first house with Lilah, then she just took off. The girls ran from house to house, loving every second. Tim and I were able to just stroll along in the street, sometimes even holding hands. It was awesome!
