Addison's birthday party

When starting to talk about themes for Addison's birthday she went back and forth between a dragon party and a fall festival. To be honest I sort of pushed her towards fall festival. I had no clue how to throw a dragon party, haha. The fall festival would be something I could get together early, since I was out of town the week of the party. Addy had fun making signs for each activity and she planned out exactly how she wanted the party to run. Once everyone arrived, she took them on a tour of the activities and told them about each one. (Oh the leadership skills this girl has makes my heart giddy. She is a mini me!). The games we had were egg race (which later turned into an egg toss), tattoo station, hair painting, three-legged race, sack rack, ring toss, bounce house (trampoline), bobbing for apples, and last but not least a hay ride.

A few welcome signs Addy and Lilah painted the night before

Ready to party with her dragon in hand

These two were face-timing each other before the party to plan their matching outfits.

When everyone arrived the games opened with the ceremonial tour of games. Then it was off to have fun. Adults helped run the stations, but really it went pretty smoothly.

After games came presents. It was cute to see all of the kids surrounding her.

After presents time to sing to the birthday girl! We had cupcakes, popcorn and and apple dipping bar.

Addy was adamant that she was going to share her big cupcake with her friend Gabriel. He was one of the boys from her class she invited. I just love this guy he is the sweetest most polite boy ever. After everyone left they were writing in her diary together. They wanted to plan a sleepover, haha. I just love how sweet and innocent they are at this age.

This was such a fun party!!! Thank you to everyone who made Addison feel special this year!
